What Do Symptoms Mean?
Symptoms are good but they are a bad way to measure how healthy you are.
How you look or feel is not a valid measure of your actual health status.
Most of the time, the symptom is the last thing to show up. Heart attacks and cancer take decades to develop and they are the 2nd and 3rd top killers in the US. The problem is that you cannot feel them until they are at the end stages.
A symptom is your emergency broadcast system, your body communicating to you, “Pay Attention to Me!” It is an alarm going off to alert you. If the check engine light went off in your car, would you put a piece of tape over it so you don’t see it? Does that mean it doesn’t exist? Do you take the car to the mechanic and tell him to remove the light bulb because it is bothering you? Of course not! You don’t want your car to break down so you address the issue CAUSING the light to go on. You would find out what is wrong with your car. Unfortunately, when it comes to health that is exactly what most people are doing! Too much stress, nerve interference poor diets, lack of exercise, and just not caring for the body properly then BOOM! A symptom pops up and they run to the MD and get a pill, shot or even a surgery to shut off the body’s alarm system. This stops the symptom and your emergency broadcast alert is silenced. This is what we call a false sense of security. Just because you can’t feel it, does it mean the problem is resolved? If your cholesterol is high and you stop your liver from making cholesterol with a drug and your numbers go down, does that mean you are healthy? If it did, the number of people with heart disease would be decreasing but interestingly, it’s increasing!
Of all industrialized nations, the US has the worst health stats. We have a ridiculously high infant mortality rates (babies dying in the first year of life), our numbers of heart disease and cancer keep rising and almost a million people per year die from medications and surgeries! Conventional medicine is now considered the number one cause of death in the US today and we consume 75-80% of the entire globes medications! Einstein once said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result! We must approach health differently if we want true health.
Certainly if you have any kind of symptom you should be checked by a chiropractor for nervous system interference immediately. Chiropractor are the only Doctors that specialize in this! Because symptoms are the last thing to show up, you don’t need to wait until you have a symptom to get a nervous system checkup.
